POWER CONNECTION
Power +12V

Before installing amplifiers, disconnect the negative cable from the battery to protect your system from accidental damage. Connect the positive power cable to the “+12V” terminal of the “POWER INPUT” block. All AurA FIREBALL amplifiers must use external fuses as rated in the diagram above. Connect one terminal of the fuse holder to the power cable going to the amplifier and the other terminal to the positive terminal of the battery. This will protect the system and the vehicle from a short circuit of the power cable to the vehicle body.

Minus (GND)

The negative cable must be connected to the car body exclusively with a bolted connection. The connection point must be cleaned of paint and reliably protected from corrosion. Loose power connections can cause unstable operation and damage to the amplifier. Connect the negative cable to the “GND” terminal of the POWER INPUT

Control wire (REM)

The device turns on when +12 volts is supplied to the “REM”. terminal. This terminal is low-current and does not require connection with a cable of the same cross-section as the positive or negative one. Acceptable wire would be 18-16AWG (0.75-1.5mm2). The standard color of the control cable is blue

TROUBLESHOOTING
  • AurA FIREBALL series amplifiers have safety features to prevent any damage from improper connection or use.
  • In case of overheating, short circuit of speaker wires or excess operating voltage, the protection indicator will light up and the system will be turned off immediately.
  • To identify the problem, set the GAIN control to the far left and turn off the power. Check that all cables are connected correctly and that there are no short circuits.
  • If the amplifier shuts down due to overheating, wait until the temperature drops. The amplifier will automatically turn on after it has cooled down.
  • Before removing the amplifier, review the list below and follow the suggested procedures.
No sound
  • Please check all connections, cable routing and voltage. Please check the fuses. If they are burnt out, replace them with new ones.
  • Please test the speakers by connecting them to a known working amplifie
Distortion and background noise
  • Adjust the input level and test the speakers on a known working amplifier. Replace failed speakers with new ones.
  • Check the RCA cable. Replace the damaged cable with a new one. Engine noise is caused by poor grounding of the amplifiers, head unit, and other system components such as the alternator. Check all grounding points
No low frequencies (anti-phase)
  • Please check the speaker wire connections. Change polarity
